Installing LED Lights in Nerd Cave – #DIYGasm Ep. 2

Welcome to the second episode of #DIYGasm where I show you probably the incorrect way to install 45watt LED shop lamps in any room in your house using the existing light bulb fixture for power so your light switch still works. Feel free to correct every mistake I made down in the comments, how else will I ever learn? Enjoy.

How to make a WATER-cooled LED light (DIY SUN BLASTER 2.0)

In this video we’ll be making an insanely bright water-cooled LED light that looks remarkably similar to sunlight!
This is because it uses a high quality LED from Yuji which as a high colour rendering index (CRI). Since its completion this project has been used to light every single one of my videos! It’s just that good!

High-quality Yuji LED (best LED ever in my opinion):

DIY – LED Tail Lights conversion

I made this video for fun and to show you how to put some LED’s in to your tail lights. In my case the lights were already broken so i didn’t really care too much about breaking them more.

Make a 1000w equiv. LED flashlight – aka DIY Sun-Blaster!

Here’s how to make a phenomenally bright 1000w eqiv. LED flashlight!
Here’s the LED we’ll be using:
It’s designed to be operated with just one hand, with easy control of brightness, and can be powered by either batteries or an AC adapter.

Can be built for around £25 if you get the CPU cooler for cheap.

Major parts list (worldwide shipping):

Heatsink, fan, lens, and mount:

100w LED for UK/EU buyers (includes lens and reflector):

Other parts:

Lens and Reflector:

Voltage Booster (there are two layout varieties floating around. If yours has a different layout than the one I used in the video, then use your own judgement when it comes to wiring up the input/output wires, which should be clearly marked on whichever layout you receive.):

High-Capacity Battery (lasts for AGES):

CPU Cooler (Titan Fenrir in my case, but you can use any tower style cooler you like. Used ones can be found for around $20):

10k Potentiometer:

Heatsink Plaster:

Mini Step Down Regulator (for the fan):

60cm Aluminium Bars (UK only):

XT60 Connectors:

Build an LED Light-Shelf

In light of achieving over one-thousand subscribers (thanks everyone!), I thought I’d make another how-to video. In this one, I will show you how to build a wall-hanging light bar that looks quite modern and cool. It’s a super simple build, and should be easy for most people to make.

Here’s the natural white LED strip that I used in this video:

Making a DIY tubular glass LED filament lamp.

You can now support this channel at
I had some LED filaments left over from my big open filament lamp project, so I spontaneously decided to make a tubular LED filament lamp after discovering that test-tubes fit nicely into salvaged lamp bases.
Initially I was tempted to cheat with the absolute minimum number of components by using a single diode instead of a bridge rectifier, using a single current limiting resistor and omitting the capacitors discharge resistor, but then I decided to do it with a full circuit. This was a good approach because the circuitry is visible inside the glass tube and looks good.

4 Inch LED Off Road Driving Light Pair Spot Light Customer Product Review – 1A Auto

1A Auto customer review of 4 inch LED off road driving light. Our lights use matched LEDs for consistent color and brightness across the whole assembly. They also use heavier duty wiring and multiple power circuits to make sure that each LED gets optimal voltage. In the rare case that an LED is damaged or fails, it will not cause the surrounding ones to turn off like the lower quality versions.

Every one of our LED light bars is tested for leaks prior to shipment. The lenses use a one piece molded gasket, as opposed to lower quality units that have cut-to-fit pieces that can separate from each other.
